Postpartum Doula Support
It is SO important to set up the support that feels right for you! Our visits can include help with feeding, diapering, bathing, baby wearing, postpartum self-care for the mother, sibling support, mental health support, light housekeeping, food prep, and more. Packages start at four 4 hour shifts. One four hour shift starting at $180, or $700 package for four visits. *travel fees may apply*
Placenta Encapsulation
Health care advocates claim that hormones & nutrients including estrogen, progesterone, lactogen, iron, endorphins & oxytocin are retained through preparation & consumption of the placenta. Reported benefits include prevention of postpartum depression, pain reduction, balanced hormones, and increased energy & milk production. $325 *travel fees may apply*
Birth Energy Cleanse
A beautiful honoring of the transition into motherhood. A Birth Energy Cleanse brings in the healing aspects of our herbal allies with the use of an herbal infused wash, herbal oil intuitive massage, personally curated herbal tea, and healing yoni steam. May also include use of sacred smoke or Reiki. Often paired with traditional belly binding. Ceremony is typically 2 hours. In home visit starting at $175 *travel fees may apply*
Closing of the Bones & Bengkung Belly Binding
Closing of the Bones is a traditional Mexican ceremony to help aid in the sealing of the body postpartum. We start with time to connect and talk through your experience over a beautiful cup of cacao, move onto an herbal wash of the body, herbal infused oil intuitive massage, herbal yoni steam, rebozo massage and sealing of the body with the use of rebozos. May also include use of sacred smoke, tuning forks, crystals, Reiki or singing bowls. Typically preformed 10-40 days post delivery or even years later! All of this is customizable to your preferences and will be talked about during an initial phone call. Ceremony is typically 3-4 hours. You will need someone to help care for your little one during this time. In home visit starting at $275 *travel fees may apply*
Bengkung Style Belly Binding uses a long piece of hand dyed cotton muslin fabric to wrap the postpartum body from pelvis to just under the breasts. It is used to support the body in its healing through a gentle hug to guide the organs & abdominal muscles back to their rightful place, provide back support, help relieve water retention, and to support the womb. It is typically begun shortly after a vaginal birth (day 3-5) or a minimum of 4 weeks post belly birth to allow time for healing. We offer this service combined with either a Energy Cleanse or Closing of the Bones. Cost of bind $40
